I’ve been listening to reputation on @taylorswift‘s new album on repeat, and I just realized that the whole album is a perfect representation of the journey that Taylor’s gone on over the past few years. The songs at the beginning are more aggressive and defensive, playing into the media’s portrayal of her. 

Then it slowly turns more hopeful. Like, “wow, I found this great guy.” And she realizes she doesn’t need all of those other people in her life, the ones who’ll only hurt her in the end. That it doesn’t matter what everyone else is saying about her. She starts to realize that despite everything, maybe she can be happy after all. She starts to feel hope that maybe she’s found her happy ending.

Having this kind of realization has given me all kinds of feels. This album is so good.
